The User & Character List Module allows you to display names of users in a list with columns or in a grid.
You can set the display to be one of three options:
You can also select who to display by adding tags accordingly or group / teams: 
In regards to sorting, you can select from an array of options on how you wish to sort your list/ grid.
The module also includes a Column Manager for arranging what information you wish to display:
